Less than a year old and the newest addition to the venues used throughout ArtsFest, Cafe Blend describes itself as ‘an oasis away from the daily grind where guests can find sanctuary in a relaxing environment and experience a unique service that allows them to sit back and watch the world go by’.

Cafe Blend is located in the heart of the city, by New Street station next to The Mailbox.

During ArtsFest, Cafe Blend will host an eclectic mix of entertainment – utilising it’s intimate performance space.

Café Blend is a licensed coffee bar that offers over 150 flavours of coffees, teas, hot chocolates and liqueur recipes including our popular coffee martinis and coffee cocktails. Inspired by travels across the globe Café Blend provides an oasis away from the daily grind with a relaxing atmosphere, unique service, live music, events and free wifi.

This is the creation of Café Blend; bringing home a blend of memories, inspirations and authentic flavours to your fingertips. Each drink represents a country and a Café culture that is unique, exciting and adventurous.

Availability:

Saturday 8th September: 11:00 – 21:00
Sunday 9th September: 14:00 – 19:00

Stage Size:

The café has a corner performance area that is slightly raised. It is approximately 5 metres by 2.5 metres.

Audience Capacity:

36 seated and 6 standing

- PA system with 4 socket inputs

Staffing:

Café blend will be staffed by 2 Baristas and a Manager. An ArtsFest Volunteer Venue Officer will be in charge of the venue on behalf of ArtsFest and will liaise with all artists before the event and on the day.

Additional Notes:

Changing facilities are not available for artists.

Venue Access for Artists

Cafe Blend is situated on Navigation Street and is at street level. Access to the venue is by steps. A ramp is available for anybody who requires disabled access. For artists bringing equipment with them that they wish to drop off by vehicle, there will be a maximum of two car parking spaces available in the parking area of the Orion Building. Please note that space here is limited and artists will be asked to remove their vehicle as soon as they have unloaded.
