The Victoria pub on John Bright Street is a theatre pub dating back to the end of the 19th century. The pub has lots of character and legend has it, it also has it’s own ghost. The pub has a fantastic drinks selection that includes quality handpicked wines, cask ales and cocktails, and year round The Victoria offers a range of interesting events from in-house quiz nights and ladies poker, to an array of eclectic live music, spoken word and club nights by the venues regular promoters.

Staffing:
There will be a sound technician at the venue in addition to a duty manager and bar staff. An ArtsFest Volunteer Venue Officer will be in charge of the venue on behalf of ArtsFest and will liaise with all artists before the event and on the day.
Additional Notes:
The Victoria is an over 18’s venue and no underage performers or audience members will be allowed in.
Changing facilities are not available at this venue.
Venue Access:
For artists bringing equipment or instruments with them that they wish to drop off by vehicle, they will be able to do this by pulling up in the loading bay outside the venue. Space in the loading bay is limited and artists will be asked to remove their vehicle as soon as they have unloaded and take it to an allocated car park.
Access to the Victoria’s function room is via stairs only. There is no lift or stair lift in the venue.
