Hello and welcome to ArtsFest’s first blog post!

Over the next few weeks we’ll be using this blog to keep you up to date with all things ArtsFest. Watch this space to be the first to hear what will be happening at ArtsFest as the acts and events are announced. We’ll also be keeping you posted on things like where you can see trailblazer events and getting you ready for the big weekend.

Artists’ applications for ArtsFest are now closed and in the next few weeks the ArtsFest Team will be putting the programme together. We’ll be letting you know who has been confirmed as it happens.

ArtsFest isn’t all about the artists, our volunteers are the invaluable people who help make it happen. We have many exciting volunteering opportunities. Just click the volunteer icon and fill in the online form if you want to get involved.

We will also be letting you know about any events or gigs that artists that you will be seeing at ArtsFest are taking part in the lead up to the festival. For example this Saturday there is the Simmer Down Festival in Handsworth Park hosted by our friends at The Drum.
