Birmingham Clarion Singers are Birmingham’s oldest progressive choir, singing from a 70 year repertoire of folk and classical protest and peace songs. Formed in 1940 as a result of the International Brigade’s experiences during the Spanish Civil War, we are regularly seen around the West Midlands region at events, demonstrations and celebrations. Clarion are Birmingham’s original rebels with a cause, with a song to gladden the heart and raise the spirit in challenging times. Banjo playing, rabble rousing, wandering minstrels, we can promise 30 minutes of choral pleasure and invigorating songs.
