Visit the Birmingham & District Allotments Council marquee and see the results of people doing just that as they showcase their range of hearty vegetables. Speak to other green fingered enthusiasts and exchange those all important tips. A host of floral socieities display the best of their plants including the Catus and Succulent, Midland Bonsai and hardy Plants. Now in it’s seventeenth year, the Birmingham Organic Gardeners will also be on hand to continue raising the profile of organic gardening for both edible and ornamental plants. Founded on the ArtsFest weekend 42 years ago, the Fushia society will present the very best of this popular flower. The British Woodcarvers Association display a range of ornate woodcarvings and hold demonstrations of their work. Get all your gardening know-how with help from the professionals when gardening writer and broadcaster, Steve Bradley, comperes a Q & A with a specialist panel of gardening gurus including Reg Moule, Frank Hardy and from BBC’s The One Show, Christine walkden (Sunday only). Q & A’s take place from 11.00-12.00, 14.00-15.00, and 16.00-17.00 as part of In Conversation
