High Horses

Song writer and singer, Simon Heath is younger brother of Adam Heath who plays mandolin live and drums on recordings. Matt Povey is cousin to the Heaths; he shares the songwriting and singing with Simon. Each having discinct voices, their vocals have a real emphasis on harmony and soulfullness whilst Adam’s haunting mandolin and energy galvanizes the two singers and completes the unique sound of the band. They have been playing gigs around the midlands since Spring 2011 and are currently recording their debut album with Michael Clarke of 1581 Productions – based in the Jewellery Quarter.
