‘It’s A Joke’ involves 20 clowns, 2 wooden ladders and 1 megaphone in any outdoor venue. Audiences will watch as the performers swamp the space and force them to engage all of their senses in this comically exciting yet challenging piece of performance. ‘It’s A Joke’ looks at the media circus that surrounds us, paying particular attention to the frenzy that followed the horrific kidnapping of Madeleine McCann. Audiences will laugh, giggle, stare in amazement as bodies are, flung, caught and collide. People 3 metres high-up a ladder being held only by other people and of course the ultimate pleasure; a glimpse into ‘Clown Court’ and the resulting punishment of their crimes!
