Imagine a future Britain. A world sans art, culture & education where the pursuit of pleasure is deemed frivolous and citizens are equated only to their ability to generate money. Meet the citizens: THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE – The lunatic world of the diplomats consists of ridiculous deal making, game playing & doing business in their uniquely developed gibberish. Letters to Eric presents a performance of OUT OF THE FLYING PAN by David Campton. A production full of physical comedy, ridiculous slapstick & political satire. Letters to Eric utilises & develops local (& locally trained) talent / theatre practitioners. FLYING PAN is part of a larger show THE BIG SOCIEty Double Bill that was performed to critical acclaim at The Hexagon Theatre MAC in April 2011.
