Paul Henshaw

Paul Henshaw is an acoustic based Singer Songwriter with an edgy punk attitude.

Currently working on his second album, scheduled for release in October 2011, Paul is a self confessed gig junkie spending the last 12 months playing everywhere from England, Scotland and Wales, to the far flung reaches of Wisconsin USA.

Henshaw’s debut album Don’t Die Wondering was inspired by his last 2 years up and down personal life, and sees Henshaw bare his soul with moving songs such as ‘My Soldier,’ a song about the death of his father, to ‘Flagwaver,’ a pointed assault on corporate employers everywhere. ‘I get inspiration from anywhere’ Says Henshaw, ‘It’s like the musical influences I’m drawn to, anything from Newton Faulkner and Jack Johnson to Frank Sinatra and Elvis Costello, basically anything goes’.

Henshaw’s follow up sees him move away from the melancholy and aims acoustic outrage right in your face with anthems from sharp and punky outrage to melancholic ballads. Paul Henshaw is in the vanguard of world class singer/songwriters that is bubbling under the radar across the land!
