The Mischiefs are a reformed band (Formerly known as Friends of the Family) with a new lease of drive and energy. We have recently played a lot of local Bedfordshire venues including London venues such as Bull and Gate, The Purple Turtle and Dirty South. In the past, I have performed acoustically at Birmingham venues such as, Island Bar, Hare and Hounds, Yardbird, Rainbow, Actress and Bishop etc
During November 2010 we released our fun song ‘Chicken Does The Robot Dance’ for Children in Need, which generated local media press. The song was downloadable on Itunes etc and raised a considerable amount for the cause.
The Mischiefs are often described as quirky. We have been compared to many bands however it is clear we do not just mimic a certain band/genre. I believe we are influenced by most popular music genres of the last 70 years and with this try and produce something revitalizing.
