The streets of Birmingham will be alive with the UK’s largest free arts festival. Come and try something new and sample the best of Birmingham’s talent for free!

ArtsFest Events
Enjoy live entertainment from local bands, the City of Birmingham’s Symphony Orchestra, dancers, comedians and street performers throughout the weekend. Be inspired by the latest hustle and bustle of the craft market and when it all gets too much; relax on the beach in Chamberlain Square.

There are a range of activities at ArtsFest, with Peter Pan themed Family activities in the Secret Garden, carnival workshops in Brindleyplace, Canal boat tours, outdoor arts market, guided tours of the newly refurbished Town Hall and much more!

Where
Performances and workshops will take place in Centenary Square, Chamberlain Square, Victoria Square, Brindley Place, Mailbox, Arcadian and in venues including Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and Birmingham Repertory Theatre.

Get Involved
Be a part of ArtsFest 2008 by becoming a volunteer! Committed volunteers are needed to work in a variety of exciting roles between now and the event. Volunteers must be over 18 and live, work or study in the West Midlands. To register your interest, complete a form online.
